Little Kim is a chef-driven, fast-casual restaurant that draws from diverse Asian vegetarian traditions (including influences from Korea, Japan, China and India), while also highlighting Michigan farmers and producers. The menu is all-vegetarian (with many dishes that can also be made vegan). Miss Kim is our sister restaurant. Little Kim is a part of the Zingerman's Community of Businesses.

Chef Ji Hye Kim is a five-time James Beard Award semifinalist and the chef-managing partner of Little Kim, as well as the critically acclaimed Miss Kim (named one of “Ann Arbor’s Most Essential Restaurants” by Eater), both located in Ann Arbor’s Kerrytown. Known for her thoughtful approach to Korean cuisine and commitment to local sourcing, she has become one of the Midwest’s most celebrated chefs and respected culinary voices. She was named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs of 2021, and was a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist for "Best Chef: Great Lakes."
